The materials that I am requesting for my classroom will be a nice way for the students to read about and learn about current events that are happening. Time for Kids is a good way for students to learn about things that are happening at a level that is appropriate for them. Our school currently does not have a Science or Social Studies curriculum so this will be a good resource for the students. The subscription also allows each student their own color copy of the magazine that they can take home with them to reread as they would like. This magazine will be grade level material for them to practice their reading while not at school.
