We are a brand new school and I am launching a brand new theater program. This semester, after a shaky start, we are embarking on our first performance project together. In an effort to engage all my students, even those who 'just picked it as an elective, and don't really care about drama' I am offering a range of roles for my students. In our theater program, acting is not the only option. I am aiming to light the spark of creativity with their first performance project but I need a number of resources to help me to do that. As part of this project, he students are embarking on a variety of production roles; acting, set design, lighting design, costume design and publicity. Right now, I have students sharing a pair of scissors and one glue stick. When I ask them to present a vision board I want their work to look professional and for them to be proud of what they have put together. I would like students to have the materials to support their progress and to inspire them to explore the art form more. Help if you can!
