Help me give my students a semi circle table to make it easier to work in small groups with the teacher. I teach in a 3-5 intermediate school in a city by our state capital. Students are excited when they enter the classroom every morning. They love learning to read, write and explore things around them. One of my favorite times of the day is when we get to work in small groups. I get to really know my students' strengths and weakness through our small group sessions. We do a lot of hands-on learning and partner work throughout the day. Additionally, we get to learn and practice making smart choices and using manners. These are critical life skills that benefit everyone. Currently, we are using a large circle table which makes it difficult to see, hear and help each individual student. A semicircle shaped table will make it easier for the teacher to interact with each individual student. It is important for every student to be heard and seen during our small group instruction. This is when they get more one-on-one time with the teacher to improve their skills. Help our students achieve greatness! We need a semi circle shaped table to help every student be successful during our small group reading, writing and math times. Every student wants to be seen and heard to help them improve their skills.
