Currently, I teach two sessions of scholars. In each session, there are over 30 scholars that have to share 17 Chromebooks. I want to start this project in hopes that my scholars will have increased usage of technology and be encouraged to develop a love for technology/STEAM and discover the benefits and possibilities of using it in the classroom. I plan to use these tablets in small groups for both math and science. Within groups of four or five students, they will be assigned one device. Students will use these devices to assist them with collaborative math projects, science research projects, blog posts discussions regarding current science-related news, read assigned articles, and watch supplemental videos on content learned.
