With all of the technology and information at our students' fingertips, we want to provide opportunities for our students to interact with print media as well as the internet to gain information and discover their world. Scholastic's Let's Find Out and Science Spin magazines are amazing resources that help our students to engage with science and current events in a way that is meaningful and age -appropriate for Kindergarteners. There are 5 magazines each month covering topics that coincide nicely with the topics we are teaching and are of high interest to our five and six year olds. The videos that are included with the subscription are wonderfully crafted and are excellent avenues to hook students on the topics we are studying in class. They also offer a springboard for provocation about other topics and learning adventures.
