In the Art Studio the students will use these materials to learn more about Fiber Arts. They will learn how to stitch embroidery, weave, wrap and tie. This will help the students develop their fine motor skills which can help in their other classes by learning how to write. I would also like to teach the students the history of Fiber Arts and the types of Fiber Arts that are made in different countries. At our school we teach the students to be open minded and I know they will be excited to learn a different art form as well as art from different countries.

About my class
