I am requesting 5 HP StreamPro laptops to use in our Reading and Math Centers for tutoring and differentiated instruction, to complete Readinf and Math interactive projects, activities and games, also to access digital libraries. Unfortunately, many do not have access to the Internet, let alone a computer at home! With these laptops, all the students will be able to access many interactive reading and math websites to help them strengthen concepts taught in class. By having at least 5 laptops, all the students have an equal opportunity to reach their potential. I can create online assignments to help them prepare for computer based tests, digital e-books in all subjects as well as interactive reading and math games will make learning fun. These HP StreamPro laptops will make an immediate difference in our classroom. My students with different special needs will be able to use these laptops to engage in individualized lessons during math and reading centers in order to grow. Students who are struggling will get the extra support they need.
