These great young men that we have that will become leaders of their generation. We are looking for an even playing field when it comes to the necessities needed to compete in high school athletics today. My students are in neighborhoods where the average family income is low. What makes our students so special is their willingness to not use this as an excuse but as motivation to outwork the next person. We as educators see that and go above and beyond to try to help bridge the gap between what we can and can not provide for our athletes to be successful. Even with those goals in mind we too come up short may need some help. If you are able to help these young men it is greatly appreciated and you are a blessing to these future leaders! Our students will be able to practice with the basic equipment needs. This will help our players become better in game situations and also in practice. Being able to have the correct equipment during practice helps our student-athletes become players individually. I believe with the equipment upgrades it will not only improve performance but improve the moral of these players as well. This would be going toward our boy's basketball programs.
