A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. ... They provide hands on learning, help with critical thinking skills and even boost self-confidence. My plan is to provide a makerspace within my classroom to allow students to explore with building kits, circuits, coding, and robotics. I also wanted the students to explore their creative side so I have asked for the Cricut Maker and the sewing machine. I can't tell you how excited I am to get this project funded and to see what they create!
