My students love to learn by doing experiments. I teach intro to physical science, integrated science, and chemistry and I could use this in ALL of my classes. I know this is something the students to explore themselves and is incredibly engaging and interesting while supporting curriculum. I have seen a similar demonstration at the California Science Center and my own child as well as students I have taken there have loved. Having tools that students can handle and manipulate can teach them far more than simply telling them about them, showing pictures or videos. When I can, I like my students to have experiences. This is not something my students would likely have access to outside of the school environment.
