With the use of these materials, PHS CBI students will run a coffee and snack cart. This cart will allow students to not only develop a sense of independence but it will allow them to further develop their social skills, math skills (counting money, inventory, graphing), reading skills (reading a menu, school map) and most importantly life skills including job preparation! Through the development of a coffee / snack cart, the staff will have the opportunity to interact with students on a weekly basis and foster those important interactions. This proposal will benefit my students by allowing them to practice social skills, life skills, math skills and of course reading skills!

About my class
