The early elementary books I have chosen will help create a varied introduction to both fiction and non-fiction texts. This library will be beneficial to my first graders because it will provide a variety of books, learning opportunities, and continue to assist them in progressing towards their reading goals. Students will be able to choose these books during independent reading time and immerse themselves in a good story or learn new information. The wide assortment of books will be showcased in leveled reading bins placed in the reading corner for easy access. It's imperative that first graders find interesting books to dive into!
