Time for kids Magazine will help my students access current events news and practice informational reading skills. Our curriculum is literature heavy and we will need to balance it with informational text. Having Time For Kids Magazine will give my students and opportunity to annotate, search for evidence, practice finding the main idea of passages and even have in class debates! Time For Kids provides practice with a resource kids can touch and work through. They will be able to use it for learning at school and then take it home to read again and again! It will be a great supplement to our literature rich curriculum!
