As a 21st century society, we are focused on creating a global community full of innovative, collaborative and resourceful individuals. As a community, we are facing an ever-growing list of problems that need to be solved on our precious planet. As educators of future global citizens, we focus a lot on cooperation, investigation and the development of a growth mindset in the middle school science classroom. By providing Chromebooks to students, we can not only provide nearly limitless access to informational tools and apps on demand, but also promote better equity and differentiation for our special populations on campus. As future leaders in our society, our students need to start practicing these essential skills. An excellent way to foster this development in our students is to provide outlets for them to use these skills on a regular basis.
