The fiberglass bows I am requesting will benefit the students in three primary ways. First of all, archery can help teach responsibility. Students will learn how to effectively operate and care for the bows. They will learn safety and the rules of the sports. They will also benefit from the increase in coordination as a result of the sport of archery. Multiple physical processes make up the draw and as a student becomes proficient they will notice an increase in their coordination for other sports. Finally, they will benefit from their world being expanded. Archery is not a familiar sport to many kids. They never get to experience the joy of a sport that has been an Olympic event off and on for one hundred years. These bows will be loved and appreciated by all of my students.
