Do you remember memorizing your multiplication facts in the third grade? How about the dreaded long division in the 4th? Were you that student that liked to hide during math class by not participating? I was one of these students too and that's why I would like to use 360 degree math in my classroom to help students become more confident in their math abilities. I want to bring the love of math back into the elementary classroom by using the 360 degree math teaching technique! What 4th grader doesn't enjoy drawing on a white board with a dry erase marker. With 360 degrees of white boards around my room I will be able to have all my students at the board at the same time showing their math work. I will immediately be able to assess their accomplishments or mistakes and differentiate where necessary.
