These novels will be used during our Free Voluntary Reading time, 1-2 times a week. Reading provides multiple opportunities for students to learn a foreign language in a stress free space and at their own pace. Students will be able to read what they choose and enjoy their options. These novels are specifically created and designed for beginning Spanish learners who are in middle or high school. My goal is to provide as many different opportunities to explore books in Spanish that interest my students. With this opportunity student can explore culture and other Spanish speaking places as well as make so many connections with the characters and story lines that interest them. I can´t wait to see their faces when our class library is filled with these various types of novels.
