We have a great Discovery ED Techbook that we are to use this upcoming year. Each section has an interactive exploratory element that really makes the math come alive in the real world. There are also videos for each topic as well as the ​narration of the readings. In addition, we love to use sites like khanacademy.org and the Big Ideas interactive learning modules. Both have excellent videos and demonstrations that students could learn from. I would love to give my students the opportunity to engage in their online explorations in an environment that is conducive to thinking and learning. I have large classes of students in an urban high school. 30 computers playing audio out loud at once would create quite the distracting learning environment!
