The classroom supplies that I am requesting already have students and projects waiting to use them. Allowing each student to have his/her own set of headphones to use while working on their Chromebook will help them focus on their task and block out disruptive classroom noise. A second benefit of these headphones will let students record their reading for fluency, voice type, & narrate their projects. Stools allow quick space saving flexible seating solutions for students to form cooperative learning groups, literature circles and guided reading. A good pencil is also a must for a classroom as well as some small manual ones for quiet sharpening of colored pencils. Art projects are so important to allow a child the freedom to express themselves in a creative way. Supplies such as watercolor paper are not easily obtainable for a large classroom. Lastly, it is always nice to have an actual base when outside playing kickball as a class.
