At districts the students take individual events in either tech or performance and go before judges to be judged and rated. This feed back allows the students to not only thrive within a friendly competitive setting but use the constructive criticism and exposure to their advantage in their professional future. It is an experience that plants ambition and growth within its participants. The students get to not only do their own pieces and projects, but see and experience others; opening their eyes to the endless possibilities that theater and performing arts holds. After this trip you just see a boost in your students, and seeing a student succeed is just the most satisfying thing after watching them work so hard to reach their goals.
