My students, especially in the middle school grades, are stuck on basketball. I want to have fun diverse games for them to play rather than the same old games. I also wanted to use standards from other curricular areas like mathematics and ELA. I also wanted to have the students branch out into something different. The equipment requested would help my students in other curricular areas and to provide creative thinking situations. Alternative experiences in math, science, teamwork, creative thinking are much needed to produce successful students. By funding this project, my students will be able to fully experience this type of learning.
