The kits and projects selected will help my students bridge the gap between the special education classroom and the general educational classroom setting. We will use these resources to promote reverse inclusion and essential group problem solving skills. STEAM projects help students make their abstract ideas concrete and helps to encourage communckiaotn with peers and teachers. The learner-centered conpects related to STEAM provide students with a powerful educational program. In order for students to fully engage and be successful with STEAM they need active, hands-on learning environments; this is especially true for students with learning disabilities. These kits can help students adapt to their environment and prepare for a future society where they can encounter all different kinds of people.
