We would like to use these loveseats for students to sit and read comfortably on. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, students have been under so much pressure from all avenues of life; reading provides a safe place to relax and center themselves. With this reading corner, we hope to instill a continual place for our students to find peace and serenity during their stressful days. Supporting students in their emotional health is so important. The reading corner will also promote literacy, which many of our ELL and at-risk (reluctant readers) children could desperately need.

About my class
