These materials will make a difference in my student's learning by providing a text-rich classroom that reinforces students' knowledge and empowers learning through images of community leaders, activists, and build familiarity. Students will also be provided with basic supplies such as pencils, printing paper and sharpeners. All students deserve a classroom that is safe that will allow students to focus on being inquisitive and infuse the love of history. By donating to our project, students will have access to supplies in order to analyze and process annotating historical documents, while in an engaging interactive classroom with images of people that look like them. Having a printer will allow me to print rich historical documents, which students will only be familiarized with in a museum setting. Students that have a calming, classroom environment have a sense of belonging and push them to reach the power of potential. All students deserve to have basic supplies regardless of their socio-economic class.
