Having a document camera will help my 165 students to see, first hand the writing process. It will help them to interact with writing in a way that is not feasible on a whiteboard. For many of my diverse learners and English language learners, being able to visually see what I am sharing will make lessons more comprehensible to them. They will be able to see how to brainstorm, draft, revise/edit, and take a piece to publication, and have the opportunity to showcase their work to the class. They will learn that writing needs time, and really IS a process!

About my class
