Nonfiction is the hardest genre to keep up to date in a classroom library. Books quickly go out of date, and students often complain that they can't find current information for their research. With TIME for Kids magazines, my students will have access to recent news on a regular basis. These exciting magazines give a wide variety of current topics that the students love to dig into. Not only that, they provide colorful images to aide in understanding. The simple arrival of a new edition receives excited exclamations! Lastly, these magazines are excellent for providing multiple sources on various topics. As a teachers, I can quickly find articles that lend themselves to learning strategies, such as finding evidence or quoting sources. It even comes with a teacher's guide! TIME for Kids is a wonderful teaching tool, and we can't wait to get started!
