These puppets and the puppet theatre will be used in my drama classes, from grades K-4. The students will learn vital performance skills like character voices, storytelling, and ensemble work. They will also learn important life skills like empathy, understanding their emotions, and communicating in an effective way. I find that students who feel shy or embarrassed to perform onstage often find some comfort in performing with the assistance of puppets. It allows them to free their imaginations and express their true feelings, while not feeling so exposed and embarrassed. These puppets and the puppet theatre would be invaluable for my drama class! We are a new school, currently starting our second year. As our budget and supply stock is extremely limited, the students would be so excited to gain these classroom supplies. Thank you!
