The addition of a fifth Lego Mindstorm EV3 core set for my class will make it possible for students to have more time building and programming their creations. Students will build robots to function in different ways according to a variety of challenges. They will use the Time digital resources to research real-world issues. They will work in small groups to determine creative ways to lessen the impact of these issues and model these using the robots. Lessons will focus around engineering design and problem solving. Students will identify a problem, research, make predictions, design, collect and analyze data, and redesign.
