The materials provided by this funding will provide students with a skill that will be beneficial for a life time. This opportunity is a way to expand their writing ability and become more creativity. The students will be motivated to share their work through letter writing, hands on craft activities, and making booklets. The materials will be utilized when writing and sharing poems with other second grade students within our district. It is my belief writing will have a great impact on my students this year. Writing will help improve grammar, test scores, help students learn the value of written communication, and learn writing and creativity can be fun. A child with a pencil or book in front of them is one with a bright future.

About my class
