Last year I purchased flexible seating options for my classroom. The kids LOVED them and always asked to use them. These tools will help my students be able to fidget while learning. They also allow them the freedom to choose where they want to work each day. Not only could the wobble stools be around the small group tables, but they could also be used for a student with ADD or ADHD who has trouble sitting in their blue plastic school chair. Most students learn better while moving, and flexible seating allows them to find an environment in our classroom community where they can do their best! With these flexible seating options added to the ones I have currently, all of my students would be able to have a choice and show their responsibility in the spot they selected each day.
