As a PreK teacher, we have to take anecdotal notes on our students so we can access them through, The Desired Results Developmental Profile. It is a formative, assessment instrument. We use this to guide us in our lesson planning for our students. My focus this coming year will be in Physical Development. The items that I am requesting will help the children develop their fine and gross motor skills. They will also be able to learn about numbers while exercising their gross motor skills. They will have a basketball hoop that will allow them to move around and participate in team-building skills. Which is very important for their social-emotional development.
