Students will be able to be more comfortable while sitting during lecture. These cushions will help students, especially those with ADHD and other attention issues be more comfortable and therefore able to attend to their math work more precisely. Students need a place that they can be comfortable in order to learn. Seating for the classroom was never intended to do more than provide a place to sit for a short period of time. Today's classes are an hour long and students are expected to be comfortable and cramped into a small room all while focusing on their academics. Giving students a way to be comfortable will set the tone that I, the teacher, really do care about the whole child and not just here to teach one subject and move forward. Your help in supplying a place for my special needs students and a few unidentified students will set the tone for my class that I want nothing but success from each person and that I care about them as a student and their comfort.
