The materials of: flexible seating, a sensory table, and social/emotional learning activities and games will make a difference in my students' learning because it will help and motivate my students to learn critical skills such as the ability to communicate, connect with others, resolve conflict, self-regulate, display kindness and empathy and cope with challenges throughout the day. When children learn cognitive, social, and emotional self-control in the classroom, learning will occur. I want my students to have the ability to participate in day-to-day routines at school, in the community and at home. It is my hope that all children will develop social behaviors to be able to communicate with care and empathy when interacting with other children, adults and people in the community!

About my class
