Over my years as a teacher, I've heard countless times, "I hate reading. I can't find a book that interests me. Reading is boring." With these new books, my students will be able to have a voice in what they read for class and read material that interests them and is at grade-level. My goal is to change students' attitudes towards reading so that they can find the joy they once had. The only way to do that is by getting books in their hands that are current. Books that relate to them. I also want my students to be introduced to different types of writing: novels in verse, graphic novels, and novels by writers that are unlike them. Please help me inspire the love of reading again!

About my class
