I would like to focus on building a reading area in my room filled with a library of favorites and new books for my students to experience, gain new insights, and experience the world through the stories of others. I am an avid reader and always loved going to the library when I was little so I want to provide that opportunity and those experiences to my students. Some of my students don't have the opportunity to read at home or don't have books at home so I would like for them to be able to enjoy a good book in our class. They love getting to read the new books I bring into the class and I love that they enjoy them so much.
