Most of my students do not have access to developmentally appropriate puzzles. If given the opportunity, my students will use these puzzles as morning work each day. These puzzles will reinforce concepts that we work on throughout the year (letters, numbers, and shapes). They will also go along with thematic units that we have during the year (animals, insects, dinosaurs). The puzzle rack will provide students the opportunity to work independently and learn to return a puzzle to its designated area. Puzzle time in our class will be a rewarding time; students engaging in an activity which builds confidence piece by piece! I know my students will get a lot out of these quality puzzles for years to come! Puzzles benefits: * Cognitive Skills * Problem Solving * Fine Motor Development * Hand and Eye Coordination * Social Skills * Developing Persistence * Math Skills
