This sensory table will make a big difference in the learning of my amazing 3 year old special needs children. Every child needs to have sensory experiences. Sensory play helps by stimulating the brain, creating neural pathways and improving sensory processing systems. It also helps by improving coordination, as well as fine/gross motor skills. With this sensory table my students will be able to have four different sensory experiences ready for them at all times. This sensory table allows me to not only use solid items for sensory play like sand or beans but I can use water as well. This adds a whole new experience for my students. This table would be a great addition to my new classroom.
