These much needed supplies will give my students the tools they need to independently learn, work and grow while I pull small groups for differentiated instruction. I have been pulling groups for years, 19 to be exact, and I have been using the same supplies since I began teaching in 2000. I know that my students would love and appreciate having these new manipulatives to work with. My students work in small cooperative groups for one hour a day every day of the week, so that I make work with each small group based on academic need. The rest of the class is working independently as I rotate around the room, and these will greatly enhance their learning and interest level.
