My goal is to create a comfortable reading area for my students to enjoy their favorite books. I want to have a print rich environment, where students can re-read and re-tell their favorite books in a cozy place. When I chose these items, I wanted to create a "favorite spot to read" - avid-readers know what I'm talking about! We all have our favorite reading area, and I want to create this peaceful place in my classroom. Having a cozy reading area, stocked with quality books will give my students many opportunities to fall in love with reading. I want to create a warm/welcoming space, with quality books in order to give my students access to reading as often as possible.
