Working primarily with students that have behavior disabilities provides many challenges within the classroom. Each of my students learns in different ways and that includes how or where they are sitting. By providing my students with flexible seating options, they will not have to be stuck in traditional seating that can pose a distraction for them but rather find one that suits their needs. Some students prefer to move a lot which both wobble seats and wobble cushions would address. For students that prefer to be on their feet, there is a desk to be utilized by standing rather than sitting (but can also adjust to a sitting height). Kick bands provide students a small fidget or movement that they can use to get some "wiggles" out while still sitting in their seat and with proper teaching of use, will not distract other students.
