In ELA class, students learn how to listen and communicate in addition to developing basic reading and writing skills. We use headphones when listening to audiobooks, building independent work stamina, interacting with technology-based learning applications, or simply playing some background music while working on projects or assignments. Students will use their new headphones to engage with learning in multiple modalities. We utilize technology in the classroom to maintain an engaging and differentiated learning environment. With a new set of durable headphones, my current and future 8th-grade students will develop new skills and engage with lessons in an ever-growing technological world.
