The circuit playground gives students the ability to stop dreaming of design possibilities and create them using simple codes. Projects can be brought to life programmed to make sounds, light up or sense movement. Design thinking is the process of problem-solving. Students have been taught for years how to solve problems cognitively and on paper. Now students will have the physical ability to use technology to solve problems. They can make their designs light up, show heat or cold, make sounds. they can make their projects interactive and adaptable for multiple audiences. Using the circuit playground my students will collaboratively design and code multimedia projects. They could make instruments or sculptures that make noise or light up when moved. Their imagination is the limit.
