The Alphabet Sound Tubs will give my students an opportunity to actually touch many examples of things that begin with each letter of the alphabet. Research shows that when you engage more of a students senses in learning that they remember what they have learned better and longer. The alphabet and letter sounds is the foundation for learning to read. I want to help my students to become "lifelong learners" by giving them a firm reading foundation. Alphabet sound tubs will give my students the opportunity to engage more of their senses while learning the alphabet letters and sounds. Please help me provide this learning tool for my students at DPS.
