Flexible seating opportunities provide students with choices. When students have choices and find something they want, their intrinsic motivation increases. This will, in turn, increase the number of positive choices students make. Being allowed to wiggle and bounce in their seats will improve their ability to concentrating and complete assignments, which are challenges for my students. The bean bags provide a cozy place for students to deescalate or calm themselves when​ they are feeling agitated, angry, or defiant. The saucer chairs are a fun choice to have when working independently. The exercise balls allow students to bounce in the seat, which acts as a stimulant for brain activity. The exercise balls also provide students with the opportunity to improve their core muscles and balance.
