These ukuleles will help my students learn music in a new way that will not only help keep their attention while learning new concepts, but also assist in them learning how to teach each other how to play different chords and rhythms. If you fund my project you will be providing the majority of the instruments we need to have a full classroom set of quality ukuleles that the students will get to use during the majority of their music classes. I plan on using the ukuleles to teach music using the Little Kids Rock Modern Band model of teaching in which I am trained. I am very excited to get to teach my students how to play some of the songs they already love while using those songs to teach core music concepts such as steady beat, major and minor chords, musical expression, rhythms and style. This will allow my students the chance to take part in instrumental music more than ever before, a luxury I truly wish a larger portion of students across the country got to participate in. My school does not have enough money for another music teacher to assist in an instrumental program, so we need your gracious help and support to make this a reality for my students.
