Third graders need to move! These stools will allow my students to move while they are working at their desks. Movement stimulates the brain and increases focus. We need ways to allow for regular movement without distracting others. The movement that these stools provide will allow my students to safely wiggle and rock as they think. They will be able to use these stools at their desks as well as when meeting with small groups. We take brain breaks throughout our day. However, with these stools, whether we are reading, writing, working on math, science, or social studies, they will naturally get the movement breaks that benefit them.
