The "I do, you do, we do" teaching model is very powerful because it helps students understand by seeing their teacher complete the learning tasks and then working on it with them. This strategy can only be implemented when teachers have the right tools to help their students. My Social Studies students need this TV so that our many technology-based history lessons become much more real and meaningful for them. Our Chromebooks and Elmo projector help but are still limiting because I can't simultaneously show the assignment and model for them what's required. Your generous support will do many things for my students. Most importantly it will allow us to use Google Earth/Tour Builder/Classroom during their student-driven presentations. This TV will also let my students watch the news/instructional videos as we learn about our amazing ancient civilizations.
