The magnetic dry erase boards will help my young writers use magnetic letters at the beginning of the school year. They will be able to manipulate letters to form words. The boards will also be used for centers so students can practice writing numbers and letters. From mid year to the end of the school year the students will write words and short sentences on their dry erase boards. The primary writing journals are perfect for these little writers. The top portion of the page gives the students an area to draw a picture and the bottom portion is lined so the students can write their sentence or sentences. They can begin to see themselves as little authors and illustrators.
