There are many great apps for learning on iPads that are not available on other tablets. Like the “Lively Letters” app. I use this program to teach early decoding and reading skills. Not every child learns reading skills at the same pace, some students need more practice. Some students need to learn a different way. Apps like “Lively Letters” will give students extra practice on beginning reading skills in a fun interactive way. Students will not only use the apps on the iPad for extra practice, but also use it to take pictures for projects, video record themselves for presentations and record themselves reading and checking themselves for fluency.
