These plants I am asking for would be lining the windows and bookshelves of my classroom. My vision is to create a learning environment that is also a green space, using plants to cool down the room in the hot early months and give students fresh air and beauty all year through. My students deserve life in their classroom, and plants can also give them a sense of responsibility and accomplishment when it is their role to water them. Studies show that live plants can brighten the mood of anyone who is around them. I have chosen a variety that will be small, fun, and scattered across the room.

About my class
